YIN

Yin yoga targets the connective tissues, ligaments and joints of the body. Going deeper than the muscle. To achieve this we hold the pose for 3 to 5 minutes whilst fully supported. This is a deeply nourishing practise aimed to still both the body and the mind, thus creating space in the joints and space in the mind. Yin yoga is the perfect balance to all of the fast-paced yang style yoga practices.

RESTORATIVE MEDITATION

Restorative Yoga offers you the time and space to really slow down creating a deep state of physical, emotional, and mental peace.
Your body will be fully supported with props allowing you to just relax and breathe.
This is a very nurturing practice, the slow pace and deep breathing allows the nervous system to completely re-set therefore benefiting all the systems of the body. More info...

HATHA

This class builds strength and flexibility in the body and the mind with a strong focus on the breath. Expect both active sequences and supported poses.

HATHA THERAPY

This class is great for those with movement issues due to age, injury, and other health issues to help reduce pain, release tension, and improve overall movement through gentle therapeutic exercises, quiet breathing, and calming restorative poses to bring balance to the body and mind. We use blocks, straps, and bolsters to make poses accessible and work on balance as well as posture.

CHAKRA HEALING WORKSHOP

In this workshop, we journey into our energy body and learn about the Chakras.
Discover what each Chakra relates to in your physical and emotional body. In this workshop we work from the outer surface of the body through the practice of asana to the more subtle layers bringing your attention inward ( yin style) and circulating energy through the chakras to enhance your physical health as well as your mental and emotional wellbeing. Learn how to energise and balance yourself and gain a better understanding of the way you react and feel in different situations and in life.

weekly classes

  All classes focus on the connection of the breath and body, letting go of the monkey mind .
Meditation and Pranayama breathing are a part of every class including, deep relaxation.
